Pharmacy School Scholarships
The United States has a great need for pharmacists all over the country. Pharmacists are required to dispense medication to those that need it to improve their health. Therefore, the pharmacy school scholarships can help you afford the career you dream of. You will have no problems finding pharmacy school scholarships, especially one that has attainable eligibility requirements, meets your specific needs, and makes you feel comfortable about the whole situation.
Of course, you will want to look for pharmacy school scholarships from accredited schools and institutions, such as those awarded by the National Association of Chain Drug Stores or NACDS. These scholarships award between $2,000 and $2,500 to students meeting their eligibility requirements. Some requirements include:
1. Full time attendance to an accredited school of pharmacy
2. Must have completed at least on year of education at the chosen pharmacy school
3. Previous experience required within a chain pharmacy
4. Interested in a career within Chain Pharmacies
5. Maintain a GPA of no less than a C
6. Must be a first time scholarship recipient
There are many other pharmacy school scholarships such as those from UWM (University of Wisconsin-Madison) school of pharmacy. This institution carries greater than fifty scholarships that are designed to help those interested in the field of pharmacy.
